We offer workplace approved first aid and CPR re-certification courses in Grande Prairie, Alberta. These courses are designed for participants that need to renew expiring awards. Certification provided through these courses meet Alberta workplace standards and is valid for 3 years. Grande Prairie First Aid does not provide re-certification classes for all of its programs. Not all certificates can be renewed and some courses must be retaken such as emergency first aid and CPR level “A”. What To Expect In These Courses?
Participants enrolled in these will go over all of the components from the original course and focus on new skills and portions of the course in which participants need improvement. Participants will have to complete a multiple choice test with a minimum score of 75% to pass the program.
What are the Prerequisites?
Participants must have a current award from a reputable provider such as the Lifesaving Society, St. Johns Ambulance, Heart and Stroke Foundation or St Mark James in order to qualify for re-certification. Award must be provided through a Canadian first aid company.
