Individuals that work in or want to work in the health care industry may be required to enrol in workplace approved CPR HCP training courses in Grande Prairie. This course teaches participants rescue techniques that involve pulse checks and advanced equipment, such as bag-valve masks, for rescues including adult, child and infant victims. Participants will also learn how to use trained assistance when doing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on an unconscious victim. This course does not include any first aid certification as successful participants will only receive CPR HCP and AED certificates. Course Cost
The cost of this CPR “only” course is –. Course fee includes workplace approved CPR training manual and all applicable taxes. No hidden costs or fees.
Course Length
The length of a stand-alone CPR level “C” for health care providers (CPR HCP) course is approximately 6 hours. This is the longest CPR component delivered via the workplace approved.

Certification
Participants that complete this course will receive a workplace approved CPR/AED and level “HCP” that is valid throughout Canada for 3 years. This certificate is eligible for re-certification.
How to Complete the Course
To successfully complete this course participants must:
- Attend 100% of the course
- Complete the skills components of the course
- Receive a minimum score of 75% on the multiple choice test
