This comprehensive 4-hour St Mark James Training CPR course, often referred to as basic CPR training, is designed to teach essential life-saving skills. Participants will learn fundamental CPR rescue techniques for adult and child victims, along with proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Upon successful completion, participants receive a wallet-sized certification card (with an optional wall-mount certificate) valid throughout Canada for 3 years. The course follows the latest CPR standards established by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).

Course Cost
We proudly offer this course at the most affordable price in Grande Prairie — only $79.99. The course fee includes a CPR manual and a workplace-approved CPR certificate.
Certification
Participants who successfully complete this course will receive a St Mark James certification valid throughout Canada for 3 years. This certification meets Alberta workplace requirements and includes AED training. Please note that this course does not include first aid certification. If you require a first aid certificate along with CPR, consider enrolling in our popular standard or emergency first aid courses. For re-certification, participants must retake this course, as there is no standalone CPR Level “A” and AED re-certification class available.

Course Requirements
To successfully complete the CPR Level “A” course, participants must:
- Achieve a minimum score of 75% on a multiple-choice exam
- Demonstrate proficiency in all required skills
- Attend 100% of the course
- Be at least 12 years of age
